Hi Minister Falcon,

Excellent poll.

Life and everything about it truly is a Miracle.

There is an email item that I have been trying to get my hands on again and the topic is about someone who has never seen a miracle and it goes on and lists Miracle after Miracle. Miracles like child birth, compassion, love, understanding, fellowship. If anyone has that or finds it on a web site let me know.

Yes, and I have also witnessed on occasion several Miraculous Miracles like what some people would say cant happen.

Our God truly is the God of Miracles.

Most Preachers will Say that if you have a problem believing the Miracles of God your unbelief is not in miracles but in God.

It is also said that if you dont believe in the miracles of the Bible your real unbelief is not in that particular verse in the Bible but in Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth .. it is quite obvious that the God that created all existence including our own that He is capable of anything that He chooses to do and especially He is capable of Resurrection both His own and ours also.

The Biggest Miracle is truly Creation, the Cross, and the Resurrection both the Resurrection of Jesus and our own each individual Resurrection. Meaning that truly the Biggest Miracle of All is Gods Love and Compassion and Commitment towards us humans!

God Bless You,

What about: Yes. [but not all the time.]

I believe a 'miracle' is something that shows God's hand outside of the natural realm. He usually works within this realm, IMO, and sometimes chooses to work outside of it...for His purposes. IMO, some people think of lots of things as 'miracles,' when they have actually been carried out exactly in the natural.

I experienced a miracle by God's hand when I went over a cliff in my truck....and He stopped me from crashing to my deathion the bottom of the canyon. I FELT His hand...[or an angel's, I don't know how that worked, but it was by God's power, of course.] I should have died, but I didn't. And inside of that, there is so much I could tell you....here's a little:

God proved Himself to me that day...not because He let me live, but because He knew my weary heart had finally chosen to want to live in the seconds before I was to die. Until then, I had wanted to leave this world so many times, and in fact had an attitude of suicide that permeated my mind and emotions....and when I was faced with CERTAIN death, I cried out to my Lord and said: 'noooooo.' I had chosen to do things prior to that, that helped me die a slow death....and slowly, God has shown me how to live. [and why I must.] HE IS my reason for living and for life.

well, I didn't intend to write all of that....but there ya go. :)

God bless you.

amy

Hi Amy,

Yes, there are miracles in the supernatural way, and there are miracles that are in the natural way. The Way is determined by God in which would be more expedient for the circumstances.

A marvellous event manifesting a supernatural act of God is a miracle. Any amazing or wonderful occurrence is a miracle.

Life is a miracle and all that life contains is a miracle. Indeed your life-changing experience was indeed a miracle, a combination of the natural and supernatual...praise God!

In my understanding, a 'miracle' is something that occurs outside the natural. Do you have a different definition?

Hi Amy,

Actually the basic statement that I made in my last post to you was a quote from my WebWord dictionary. That would be a secular point of view of the word 'miracle'.

My study tools define the word MIRACLE:

Old Testament: Thayer's Greek Lexicon and Brown Driver & Briggs Hebrew Lexicon

OT:4159 mowpheth or mopheth -- meaning a wonder, a sign, a miracle, a portent

a) a wonder (as a special display of God's power)
b) a sign, a token (of a future event)

New Testament: Thayer's Greek Lexicon

NT:1411 dunamis, dunameoos, hee; meaning: strength, ability, power

a. universally, inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth: Luke 1:17
b. specifically, the power of performing miracles: Acts 6:8
c. moral power and excellence of soul: 1 Corinthians 4:19
d. the power and influence which belong to riches
e. power and resources arising from numbers: Revelation 3:8
f. power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces, hosts,
g. meaning of a word or expression: 1 Corinthians 14:11

FYI there is only one time in the OT that word Miracle is found stated in the bible; and only four times in the NT.

Yet for all of five times being stated in the bible there are more examples listed in the bible of the miracles of the Godhead.
